BWT 307#
A decent start to the week weight-wise, but more importantly I am on the last notch of my 42" belt! Hopefully, I can dip below 300# this week and move onto a size 40" belt.
1,500 Cal today, and the rest of the week. I will have to stay out of the cookies at the Microbiology department retreat today and tomorrow to stay on plan. Too bad, one of the highlights of the retreat was the unlimited snacks.

Congratulations with the belt achievement. It's funny how a belt can influence our mood so much. Getting a new belt because you lost weight feels so good, yet going the other way makes you want to cry! ;)
I appreciate your suggestion on the scale. I think for now I am just going stick with my useless scales. I think it is a good motivator to NOT weigh myself. I know I have an unhealthy addiction in regards to weighing myself a million times a day.
I am going to try to not look at the scales for 6 weeks. YIKES! Well that's the plan anyways.
Thanks for the support on my blog. Look forward to reading your entries.
Thanks for posting Brad. I will be following your progress with great interest.
Weighing yourself frequently can be good; a big guy like me can easily average a loss of 1#/day on a strict diet. However, if you stray and "carb up" it can be very demoralizing to pick up 7# overnight.
I have been looking for sites like this for a long time. Thank you! » » »
