Bodyweight 300#
Waist: 44.5"
Looks like I knocked another 1/2" off my waist, and I am weighing in at a pretty well hydrated 300#. I may ease up on the cheating this weekend and make a run at getting down to 293# or so. On the culinary front, I made myself a nice treat this week: milk chocolate and apricot tart, which I have been treating myself to slivers of at lunch time. It definitely does a better job satisfying my hunger than the Oreos I had been eating the past couple of weeks. Dinner is still water and sugar-free gum, and my claorie count is around 1,500/day.

Once your body gets used to not eating dinner you are okay, but it took several weeks to adjust.

The tart came out really well. I used Callebaut milk chocolate (16oz) and 1 cup heavy cream to make the ganache (I did this in a foodprocessor), and I softened dried apricots (6oz.) in hot water, diced them and then tossed them in lemon juice plus a little black pepper. I then placed the apricots in a pre-baked almond cookie crust (used a recipe from '"The Pie and pastry Bible") and poured in the ganache.
I was trying to simulate the milk chocolate and apricot chocolate bar Jaques Torres makes in his store.

Wow, that sounds super yummy, I can't wait to see Jaques Torres. ..oooh i'm hooongry. It's funny because I am not a sweets person, but something about fruit and chocolate together does it for me. And I l-o-v-e apricots!!
