I am dilligently logging everything I eat into Fitday. So far I am running an 11,000 Cal deficit this week. I chose September first as my target date for achieving my goal weight, so I need to average 3.3# of loss per week. Doable, but it will take some discipline.

Trying an Anthony Ditillo scheme: Five singles with ~90% 1RM followed by 5x5 with 70% 1RM. The weights will stay constant until I can handle 5x3 with the 205#. The 5x5 are done explosively, from a full pause at the bottom.

Still trying to stay on plan, although we took my Father out for a birthday lunch which pushed up today's total. I will try to keep under 2,000 cal for the rest of the week.

We went to the gym last night and stopped by Lincoln center afterwards to check on David Blaine in his fishbowl. The stunt is taking place two blocks from my gym, so I will probably stop by after my next few workouts. I talked it over with an Australian journalist who was waiting to interview Blaine's handlers and we both agreed that this was a pretty poor excuse for a stunt, and not really worthy of all this media attention.
